Zhuhai Classical Children’s Choir Make Beijing Debut at the Central Conservatory of Music

Andrew’s Zhuhai Classical Children’s Choir made their Beijing debut at the Central Conservatory of Music on 4th November 2017 with a performance of classical choral masterworks, including works by Byrd, Purcell, Mendelssohn and Saint-Saens. The concert, conducted by Assistant Music Director Lynn Swanson and Andrew himself, was  subsequently broadcast on Chinese national television.

The Zhuhai Classical Children’s Choir was established  in 2013 and is the founding ensemble of the British Schools Foundation Choral Programme. The choir provides conservatory standard musical training in the English Choral Tradition, the only organisation to do so in China. Andrew serves as Music Director.
